Claims Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Claims & Variations Management: Oversee the preparation, submission, and management of claims and variations.
- Correspondence Coordination: Manage daily project correspondence to ensure clarity and comprehensive documentation.
- Dispute Management: Address and resolve disputes effectively using contract knowledge and negotiation skills.
- Subcontract Administration: Administer and manage subcontractor agreements, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Law, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in contract administration.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the 2017 FIDIC Red Book conditions of contract.
Skill Set
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and analytical.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Experience with Dispute Avoidance / Adjudication Board (DAAB) Dispute Resolution in Sri Lanka.
