We’re looking for a Merchandising Manager to join our team in Colombo Port City.Key Responsibilities:• Market Research: Identify trends, customer needs, and competitor products. • Supplier Relations: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing. • Purchasing Strategy: Create strategies to ensure the right product mix and sales forecasts. • Inventory Optimization: Monitor stock levels, prevent excess, and ensure availability. • Budget Management: Manage and optimize the purchasing budget. • Collaboration: Work with merchandising, marketing, and logistics to align strategies.Ideal Candidate:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Supply Chain Management. • 5+ years of experience in merchandising/buying (preferably in FMCG, Retail, or Travel Retail). • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. • Results-driven, adaptable, and customer-focused. • Knowledge of travel retail trends and inventory management.
