Manning Market will be shifted to Peliyagoda from 16th November

The Manning Market will be temporarily moved to Peliyagoda as many workers in the market were exposed to COVID-19.

The authorities will open the Manning Market in Peliyagoda on Monday, the 16th of November, and the infrastructure is being developed, said Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana.

All workers of the Manning Market are urged to undergo a PCR test as soon as possible if they were not subject to any test.

If any Manning Market worker has not undergone any PCR test, one can contact the SSP in-charge of the Colombo Central Division SSP Nishantha Chandrasekera via 0718 59 15 51, who would arrange the facilities, said DIG Ajith Rohana.

For Manning Market workers to be allowed to enter the Peliyagoda premises, they need to be cleared via a PCR test, he added.
